Last week we got the news that a good friend was unwell and that she was likley to be in hospital for 6 weeks, then today I have heard that a very special friend who I love dearly has had a stroke and has lost sight in his left eye.
He is also due a long stay in hospital.
Feeling pretty bloody hopless at the moment to be honest.

Life throws curve balls every now and you either cop them full on or manage the impact.

I agree with Wombat. Just enjoy this time with your wife and make memories to last your life. Things either get better or they don't. Worrying about them wont solve anything whilest you're away Kev. But, it still sucks when people you care for aren't well. Hugs to you and Tia Rach.
