The reason for this blog.

We're off on our long awaited and much anticipated le tour of duty.
On Saturday 22 September Erika, Amy, Rachel and I head to our first stop, Hawaii for a week before moving on to California for another week.

Then the kids fly home from San Francisco while Rachel and I jet off to the first stop on our European experience for the next 49 days before a few more days in the USA and finally getting home in December.

YAHOOOOO!!!!!!
Stay tuned for as many updates and pictures as we can provide and while we will love your feedback please keep your comments appropriate as my mum and kids will be reading it.

Live it up! Try to avoid the Kiwis at the Beer Fest...wait, you are them! In LA, eat too much bad food to remind me of home. In Italy always carry toilet tissue with you, even into the pay-toilets (most toilets in Europe will cost you a few Euros to use) as they're skanky-as. In Nice, walk to the top of the Mount with some bread and wine and watch the sun go down. Look for Elton John too, he lives in the big yellow house on the hill overlooking the marina (can't miss it!) And, in the Damage (Amsterdam), a word to the wise is don't photograph the hookers in the windows...apparently the pimps can be really mean when they're mad. Okay, can't wait for the updates. be safe and ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY. Love you guys, all of you! XOXOX
